The Mississippi Hurricane Recovery Fund has been set up by Governor Haley Barbour to serve as the state’s central clearinghouse for corporations, organizations, and individuals to make financial donations to the hundreds of thousands of Mississippians who are recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Katrina and other natural disasters such as Hurricane Gustav.
Many individuals, companies, and volunteers are stepping forward in big ways to help Mississippians. If you would like to join us in this overwhelming challenge, we appreciate everything you can offer. We will carefully match your donations or offers of volunteers and time with the needs of our citizens and communities as directed by FEMA and MEMA.
